Demo To Live in Dom and Charts

I see u have a Global Simulation Mode, do u have a Global Live Mode or is there a setting when I have a Dom and Charttrader linked that when I switch from demo to live both chart and dom switch? I have 1 dom and 3 charts with the trader activated and it's a pain to switch all manually as I have all the charttrader collapsed to save space.

Thank you for your post.

For this, you would want to use the window linking feature of NinjaTrader.
Chart, SuperDOM and Basic Entry windows all have link buttons ("L" button) in the top right hand corner. Any window that is linked by color (each link button is set to the same color) will receive the same change of account request. That means, change an account in one window and the account in all linked windows will also change.

Thanks for your quick response Kyle, I do have the dom and charts linked but when I change from sim101 to live in the dom the chart stays on demo, I have to change all 3 charts manually to live.

Thank you for your reply.

Upon further testing, it seems that you are right - with linked windows, switching the account in one does not change the account in others. Sorry for the confusion here!

Unfortunately, it seems that the functionality you are looking for is not possible in the current version of NInjaTrader. For now, you will need to continue to select the account in each of your order entry windows.

I will, however, forward this on to my development team for consideration as an addition to future releases.
