Workspaces and Templates

I have copied via the file system a workspace file and chart templates to another machine. Start NT 6.5 opened workspace nothing happened...

i can open the chart templates and they work ok ---

Ideally the workspace is better though if possible as it took a long time to setup and save - by another remote team member

any ideas of what to look for - versions compatibility - mayeb the source was older.

You should be OK provided you're using version 6.5 on both machines. If you're transfering files in this way, the main thing is to make sure it ends up in the same place as where you took it. Workspaces are stored:
My Documents\NinjaTrader 6.5\Workspaces\

If you're still having difficulty, it might be best to use NTs backup and restore feature to transfer the file from one installation to another.

To restore a backup archive:

• From within the Control Center window select the menu File > Utilities > Restore...
• Select the backup archive to restore from the "Restore" file dialog window
• Press the "Open" button
