FOREX GBPuSD WoodiesPivots do not match between esignal and barchart

A team member has woodies pivots with barchart - I use Esignal which has turned out to be my mistake i think -

During a joint sudy on GBPUSD - Ron using woodiespivots on barchart
on a 3 min was getting S1 = 1.6003.5

I was getting 1.5897 using esignal

same chart series, days, settings etc

Obviosuly this means I cannot trust anything to with Forex using Esignal - this is a extremely worrying situation.

Is there anything I can do to diagnose this, alter this

Maybe i should quit wasting my time and bin Esignal for good? Using them is the same as using sabotaged data and equipment - 1st rule of trading use reliable technology...

This is the 4 th Esignal issue in 1 week - i will be replacing them with barchart for all US markets - and looking for a Eurex provider.

Thank you for your post.

Testing both BarChart and eSignal on the GBPUSD 3 minute chart I do not see a difference between the S1 on the Woodies Pivots.

Is it possible that with one you are using intraday data to calculate the pivot points, and the other you are using daily bar data, because with Pivots it is possible to calculate with different data series.

Can you please clarify which data you are using on your eSignal connection by letting me know what the PriorDayHLC parameter is set to.

we are both GMT 0 lcoal time.

Thank you for doing that. I tested with both BarChart and eSignal and received the same pivot point you were receiving, and I'm interested in seeing where these pivots rest tomorrow.

Please let me know that outcome.
