Scratching Trades

I have my strategy entries programmed now and they seem to work as intended. However I would like to add a condition that would automatically scratch the trade (ie close the position) if the price was below a certain value just before the close. How would I do that?

You would need to add a time filter condition and then check for your condition occuring to ExitLong / ExitShort open positions.

Thanks for the reply. At risk of appearing ignorant can you confirm the following.

Do I just need to add an additional condition under "condition and actions" in for example Set 2 that will exit my trade if the time and price conditions are met?

If I specify a command such as "exit long position" I'm assuming that this will only trigger if I have a long position already established?

Correct, just add the exits in a new condition set - yes ExitLong() is ignored if no long position is existing.
