real time DDE to and from excel?

The help docs mention something about a link to excel, but through something other than DDE, which is what apps usually use to link to excel for real time data exchange.

Is it possible to get real time market, position and etc. data into excel, and submit orders and other order info (quantity) manually and/or automatically via excel?

If not, would there be a way for a user to program the link themselves?

Unfortunately we don't have a DDE interface to Excel available per default, however you can work with our versatile AT interface for executing / managing externally generated signals -
