Fix USDCAD problem

Finally I get it. The USDCAD, NZDJPY and other do not have half pip in IB. Since I am generating the order for TS which is 10th of pip for every currency pair (makes sense) I did not realize this problem.

I would like to suggest therefore that the menu to select the "Quote currencies FX in" to the second tab of the instrument manager (Misc->Symbol Map). This way each FX instrument can be configure in a per broker/per instrument basis. Making this more obious. Currently the selection is global and If I want to send order to another broker that allows thenth of a pip plus IB I would not be able to do it. Once you do this NT Should do the rounding automatically without the client having to do it.

Hi guys,

I have the same issues to trade the USDCAD pair with an automated strategy AND when I try to place a trade manually (NT 6.5.1000.15).

Are there any new ideas to fix this problem immediately?

Which broker / provider are you using and did you check into the PIP setting as mentioned in the respective connection guides from us?

well I'm using Interactive Brokers also. And yes, my settings are exactly the same as the connection guide prescribed (HalfPip for FX).

It happens only at the USDCAD pair. The other pairs doing well....
