Optimization Problem

Im very new to NT;therefor,this is probably a stupid question. Whenever I try to Optimize my strategy it says that there are no parameters to optimize it by. That cant be right because under parameters it listed Fast,Slow,Middle for my moving averages. What am i doing wrong?

You would first have to setup a range to optimize. The parameters are listed with 3 numbers.

Start range, end range, increment

You want to change those numbers to what you want to optimize on.

I tried that but it still isn't working I said for fast 0 5 1,for middle 0 10 1 and for slow 0 20 1. What else should i try?

Make sure in your code you actually use those parameters for something that makes sense for optimizing.

Well its moving averages so it makes sense to optimize right? Is there anything else im doing wrong?
