multiple accounts

I am trying to trade multiple accounts , using 'acount groups'.
Are the trades on the different accounts always the same size, or can I set some sort of ratio between accounts? (if so, where can I do that?)

Thank you for your post.

Using the Accounts Group feature any account that is grouped will be traded in equal sizes.

Presently, accounts as a part of a group that are sized in different ratios is not supported.

thanks... another problem I'm having is this:
I made an account group of 2 accounts, and when I place a limit order, everything works as expected, the order shows up for each account....
when I move the order to another price, only 1 account follows...? the same happens when I cancel the order; it is only cancelled on the 1 account, the other one stays where it is.

Could really use some help here, thanks!

Hi Jay_NL,

This is to be expected with Account Groups, as each account that is a part of the group will need to be modified individually. The only thing that is tied together with Account Groups is the order entry. Please see the following link for more information.

So how exactly does this work with TWS?

I am using NT with TWS, so I am sending an order to an account from one script running in E-Signal, and NT is routing that order to the local TWS. So how do account groups let me send orders to multiple TWS clients? Can I run two open connections to a TWS connected to one account locally and another TWS on another computer in the same network?

If I understand you correctly, an order will be sent to your TWS feed via NT and TWS will disseminate that to the various accounts.
