Horizontal lines that do not extend outward

I've been trying to find a way to draw horizontal lines that do not extend across the screen such as the "Horizontal line" drawing tool does. I know there is the "Line" (F2) drawing tool, but need something that only allows you to only draw horizontally as I draw them in real time in multiple charts. And making sure my lines are parallel to the x-axis from using the "Line" (F2) tool is just a pain in the butt

I may be missing something but very surprise that such a simple drawing tool is not available. The lines I am trying to achieve look just like this:

Unfortunately such a line tool is not supported. As you mentioned we provide a Line tool, which can be used to draw such lines.

I've been using the Rectangle (Ctrl - F12) drawing option for the time being. So for those that are in similar situation, this could be a (hopefully temporary) incomplete solution.

Holding a key while drawing a line to force it horizontal would be a real nice addition.
