    eSignal login failure

    Hello,

    Just signed up for eSignal but can't get it to work. The little software from eSignal (eSignal data manager) says reception OK, password OK. But the account in NT doesn't work. Says: "Login failed: unable to connect to level2 host". I have tried to restart NT, but no help there.

    Any thoughts?

    This occurs when your eSignal account is not entitled for level 2 (market depth) data. You must change your eSignal account connection in NinjaTrader by performing the following steps.
    • From within the NinjaTrader Control Center window select the menu Tools > Account Connections
    • Select your eSignal connection and press the "Change" button
    • Press the "Next" button several times until you reach the screen wich holds your eSignal account information
    • Remove all text from the field "Level II server host" so that it is blank
    • Press the "Next" button and then the "Finish" button
    • Restart NinjaTrader and connect to your eSignal account
