MA "# bars to look back" setting

market analyser tries to backfill much further back than I want and I can't seem to stop it (it's not the charts as no charts are open and all other workspaces are closed)

The problem seems to be with the setting "# of bars to look back" under Properties. This setting seems to be interpreting this setting as number of days rather than number of bars. If I change the setting to 5 it only backfills 5 days of data.

Is this a know error in this look back setting in market analyser?

I have a 5 min indicator in one of the columns (i've tried it with both a purchased indicator [mtpredictor] and the standard atp indicator in ninja). I have the latest version of ninja. The datafeed in interactive brokers (so this problem is giving me pacing violation errors).

I have fiddled with the chart default look back settings in the options section - but it makes no difference.

In the message, please include the following informaiton:

1.) A link to this forum thread.

2.) Your most current trace file.
You will find the file here: My Documents > NinjaTrader 6.5 > Trace > trace.YYYYMMDD.txt

3.) Which version of TWS are you running?
To check, click Help > About Trader Workstation

4.) Please also include a screenshot of your Market Analyzer.
To send a screenshot press Alt + PRINT SCREEN to take a screen shot of the selected window. Then go to Start--> Accessories--> Paint, and press CRTL + V to paste the image. Lastly, save as a jpeg file and send the file as an attachment.
