Error 451

    Error 451

    I was trading live with Interactive Brokers with forex eurusd. I was trading in 20,000 to 50,000 euros. It worked fine. When i increased it to 100,000 euros, I got error message 451, NT deleted the order from the NT chart but the order was live on the IB platform.

    I contacted IB. They do not see a problem on their side. I need some help.

    Error 451 said: "This order violateds total value constraints specified in the default order setting." I have more than enough margin in my IB
    account and there does not seem to be a problem on their side.

      When I go back with the SIM account, not live. It works fine.

      Any ideas. I need help.

        Please send a note to Support [AT] NinjaTrader [DOT] com with "ATTN: Chris" in the subject line so I may look into the issue you are experiencing.

        In the message, please include the following:
        1.) A link to this forum thread.
        2.) Your most current trace file.

        You will find the file here: My Documents > NinjaTrader 6.5 > Trace > trace.YYYYMMDD.txt

          I keep getting error messages that NT will not accept the user email with the trace file.

            Please go to the Control Center-->Help-->Mail to Support, be sure that Trace and log is checked. Please include Attn: Chris in the subject and a link to this forum thread in the message.

              I have tried it 4 times with the same result. It times out because NT will not accept the email.

                Can you please Private Message me a phone number you may be reached at and I will remotely log into your PC to check the files.

                  TWS has a precautionay hold that has to be released in the API settings. I did that and the order chevron now displays on the NT chart.
