Newbie placing order question on Ninjatrader Direct

Hello everyone,

I will be starting off trading eminis using Ninjatrader Direct. I just wanted to confirm how place orders without using ATM.

To enter at market price (BUY): Click middle mouse button +CTRL key

To manually place STOP LOSS: Click middle mouse button at chosen price on the SELL side of the ladder.

To manually place TAKE PROFIT: Click middle mouse button at chose price on the BUY side of the ladder.

Hello Mark,

Thank you for your post and welcome to the NinjaTrader support forum.

1.) To place a Market order, you will want to click the Market button at the bottom of the appropriate column.

2 & 3.) The middle mouse button will place a Stop Limit order. Depending on what price you are looking for, this may not be the appropriate order type. Please test in the Sim101 account to find which orders would work at different price points.
