Cancelling Alert

Apologies for this simple question but I can't figure it out:

I have set up an alert which triggers a sound file when a specified last price is hit. I no longer need an alert at this price & wish to cancel the alert I've tried column>last price>alert conditions>remove price so that there is no longer a specified last price. This has no effect on the alert which continues to trigger the sound file.

Please set re-arm to zero. That way the alert will not be re-armed.
