Automated Trading Brokers

Hello everyone - I am quite new to automated trading and am looking for some advice on a broker that works with Ninja Trader.

Simply enough, it must support strategies I have implemented in Ninja Trader (longing, shorting, stop loss limits, etc) and send orders directly based on my strategies. Any suggestions on a broker that does this? Or a site with resources for this?

Also, I live in Canada (if this makes a difference?)

Automated trading is supported with all supported broker partners as far as I know. Perhaps you want to confirm with the broker as well.

Thanks. I found this site before - is there some kind of list that reviews the features of each? Is there a most-used broker among that list?

Unfortunately there is no such list. I suggest to check for user experiences in the forum or elsewhere.

I already have IQFeed for historical data - do you know if one of these services combines both historical intra day data as well as direct electronic brokerage access?

Gain Capital, Interactive Brokers, MB Trading, Patsystems, PFG, TD Ameritrade, TrackData, Trading Technologies and Zen-Fire are such feeds.

These are broker technologies which will provide data and will allow you to connect to your live account at your broker.

The others are data feed only, such as IQ Feed.
