Charts not loading

    Charts not loading

    I am using IB for my data. I load my NT charts (just 4 of them about 30 days of data). The historical data downloads from IB fine but my Charts do not "fill in" I just have blank charts. I have shut down and reload so many times. It is an intermittent problem and I cannot see where the problem lies.

    Any thoughts?

    1.) Which version of NinjaTrader are you using? (Help > About)

    2.) What version of Interactive Brokers' TWS are you running? (Help > About Trader Workstation)

      NT 6.5.1000.14
      IB - build 900.6. I actually just updated it to see if that solved the problem but it does not. I was using the recommended version which was a 893 (I think).

        Hi deurich,

        Thank you for your reply.

        Please uninstall this version of TWS and reinstall version 898.4 from the following link: http://www.ninjatrader-support2.com/...nstall_898.exe

        After doing so, test to see if the issue persists. If it does, please open a new workspace (File > Workspaces > New Workspace) and let me know if you see the same behavior there as well.

            Totally my workspace. If I open NT and start a new workspace I can load any new chart. If I then open my old workspace the data does not load as before. Also, data will not load in any new chart i make in the new workspace also. So clearly my workspace is toast. Is there a way to salvage the charts out of that workspace?

              Thank you for your reply.

              Yes, this would indicate a workspace corruption.

              You could import the layout of the charts easily by creating templates to apply to charts in the new workspace.

                Thanks Kylie. I do have templates but I have a lot of annotations/lines. No worries.
