Level II

Hello,

I want to ask if someone can tell me how I can see the sell and the buy orders (volume) at certain prices in NinjaTrader.
In the T&S window I see the realized contracts but not the orders put in the market (stops and limits)
In the Level II window I want to ask if I can see here the buy and sell orders with stops and limits to analyze the volume and the "smart money".

Thank you for your post.

The only option available to see market depth as far as volume resting a specific price is with the Level II or SuperDOM windows.

Hello Christopher,

thank you for your answer. But when I attend a webinar where we see buy-volume-numbers and sell-volume-numbers and the platform of the NinjaTraderPartner is of course NinjaTrader. So, when I buy NinjaTrader why can I not see somehow this information.

Where do they get the information then if not from Mirus with NinjaTrader?

Yes the market depth comes from your broker or data provider. Please answer the following questions so I may further assist:

• What data provider/broker are you connecting to within NinjaTrader?
• What instrument and expiry are you attempting to view?
• What window are you viewing, SuperDOM, Level II, etc?
• Are you receiving live data within the Orders tab of the Control Center?

thanks again for your reply. Here are the answers to your questions:

* I have Mirus-Trial now
* YM, ES, TF, EMD, NQ
* SuperDom, Chart, T&S, Level II
* I have a lot of data in the orders tab (referring to my trades) with the executed prices.

Market Depth will be available within the SuperDOM. If you only see the current Bid and Ask please right mouse click within the SuperDOM-->Properties-->Show Market Depth-->Set to True-->Click Ok.

With the Level II window please right mouse click-->Instruments and select the instrument of your choice.

Unfortunately you will not see Market Depth within the chart or time and sales window.
