IB Limitation for historical data

Hi,

I am trying to download data from IB for the ES dec09. I can only download two months worth of data before i get the following message "NT has reached an IB limitation for historical data requests".

Previously I have easliy downloaded data for one full contract.

Can anyone explain why I am now encountering this issue and what I can do to reslove?

Thank you for your post.

This message is coming from IB, and indicates you have exceeded their threshold for data transfer. One possible reason why you are seeing this now is that CME recently changed the way that tics are packaged. This has resulted in a substantial increase of information.
