    Hello noemotions,

Can you please go to Tools-->Instrument Manager, highlight the DJIA index in the 'Available master instruments' section and click Edit.

Select the Misc-tab and enter the TradeStation chart symbol, $INDU, next to External.

Insert the 'NTEXternalFeed' into the $INDU TradeStation chart and check if you receive real-time data.

I did exactly the same steps you mentioned.
      It does not work.

        Hi noemotions,

        Thank you for your reply.

Do the chart intervals in TradeStation and NinjaTrader match?

Are you receiving any error messages within the Log tab of the Control Center?

Yes chart intervals match and I do not see any error in log tab

I see 2 difference between $INDU and others ES, NQ which work.

          1) The symbol of Dow Index in tradestation is $INDU
the symbol in Ninja is DJIA
but when I plot the chart of dow index in ninja in the title of the chart window I see ^DJIA ( this ^ seems to be added )

          2) Since Dow Index does not have any volume info is this why it does not work ?

I hope this triggers some type of clue?

          Thanks

I see. The '^' should not be related.

What happens if you test a different index, such as the Nyse TICK or the Nasdaq 100 index (NDX)? Does the issue persist?

              I tested with $TICK and $COMPX ( NT symbols ^TICK and ^COMP)

$TICK worked ,I was able to record the market data.

but $COMPX did not, same issue like $INDU.

Unfortunately the $INDU does not seem to be supported; I am unable to receive real-time data on my end as well.

When I test the TICK and TRIN, I do receive real-time data. These are specified as per the Nyse exchange in TradeStation.

The INDU does not have an exchange specified in TradeStation. However, even with exchange set to Default in NinjaTrader, it will not work.

If $INDU does not have an exchange in Tradestaion is the cause of this issue, then is it possible to modify TExternalFeed strategy (hardcode) to some how send the exchange info to NT from Tradestation for $INDU.

                  Thanks,
