Time and Sales with Forex

Greetings,

I'm using IB and Dorman data feeds with NT 6.5.

I've traded 6E for a while.
I just recently started watching EUR/USD.

Why does the Time & Sales on the EUR/USD.
Show mostly hits at the bid (red) rather than like 6E a distribution between bid hits and ask hits?

It seems like I get groups of bid (red) data on T&S and then one ask trade (green).
Then another group of red then one green. Not at all what I see with 6E T&S.

Or is it just my data feed? (IB for Eur/Usd)

Hello DavidHP,

NinjaTrader acts like a radio receiver in that we display data as it is provided.

In addition, note that the 6E is a futures instrument, while the EURUSD is a forex instrument.

Yes I am aware of the difference between Forex and futures.

I have never noticed that EUR/USD T&S displays that way.
I know Ninja only displays what it receives.

That is why I asked if it was the data feed or is that a characteristic of the Forex/currency markets to have that kind of data?

Unfortunately I am not sure; I suggest to contact IB for clarfication.

I suspect this is related to the IB feed, since I do not experience such behavior when connected to a different feed that supports forex data.

That was the answer I needed.

I did not have another source to compare so I could not tell if it was IB specific.
