"Historical" Data

Hello,

when I open a new chart I always have 3 days of data and I have to change manually but even when I do this for 30 days I only have about 5 days in the chart. Can anyone tell me please how I can get the "historical" (for the last 30 days) data into NinjaTrader. I´ve selected PFG for historical data in the account connections. Thx

Please confirm you have historical data enabled with the steps I have provided below.

• Disconnect
• Tools
• Account Connections
• Select your PFG connection
• Change
• Next
• Historical Data-->Use PFG Servers
• Next
• Next
• Finish
• Reconnect

Please let me know if the issue persists after this procedure.

Hello Christopher,

thank you for your reply. In the meantime I found out that there are intraday data for a longer period but on the severs only 3 days for tick, range and volume data (but this is what I need).

And I was informed I have to bring up a chart and to save it and then each day will be built. I´m not sure about this, as I think that I have saved but not more tick, range and volume data each day. Can you please tell me how Ninja handles the data? When I want to see (sometime) tick, range or volume charts with maybe 30 days data I have to save every day each one with each charttype? Thx.

For information on when NinjaTrader loads historical data please select a window within NinjaTrader-->Hit F1 on your keyboard-->click on the + next to Historicial data in the left column-->Select "When does NinjaTrader Load Historical Data".
