store real-time bar data

hello,

If i un-check the Tools>Options>Data - "Store real-time bar data" tab

what will this instruct my computer to do? ... with regards to reloading historical data etc etc....
If i were to load NT on a new trading day and connect to Mirus / Zen what data / and where will the last day's data come from?

Is my computer storing historical data regardless of what setting i have?

FYI i have Mirus / Zen connection.

Hello Steven,

We recommend to have this option disabled, since your data feed provider supports historical data.

This option will save all incoming real-time data in the database.

In addition, please see the link below how NinjaTrader loads historical data.

Thank you for the information, i will now disable this option.
In one years time when this current intraday data is no longer available from my data provider, will my PC still have the historical data saved???

from the help guide: ....NinjaTrader maintains an internal cache of your prior accessed data...
