Locked by another User?

hello,

I have not used NT for a while, but running it today has been ok up until a few minutes ago where after an execution, I get the following error msg.

Failed to execute DB job 'OrderUpdateJob': Could not read the record; currently locked by another user.

This has happened before when I was running 2 instances of NT 1 live, 1 backtesting. Today however, ther is only 1 instance running.

Hello rightcoast,

Note that it is not supported to run multiple instances on one machine. Most likely this caused corrupted in the database.

I suggest to transfer your database and check if the error persists using a new database. While NinjaTrader is closed, please go to (My) Documents-->NinjaTrader 6.5-->db.

Transfer the NinjaTrader.mdb outside the db folder.

Start NinjaTrader (a new .mdb file will be created) and check if the error persists.

The database contains all saved chart data, ATM templates and trade history.
