Backtesting

Hello,

I try to backtest a strategy on ES ##-## for the last 10 years on 5 minute charts (I know a lot of data!!).
When I launch the backtesting, it seems to load all history but when the results appear, I just obtain backtesting on approximatively the last 2 years.
Any idea?

Please create a standalone 5min chart to confirm how much data your data provider can offer for the ES ##-##, just because you request it does not have to mean it's available from their servers.

Concerning the data, I use Esignal as a provider and I get 10 years of intraday data on that contract on Advanced Get ESignal.
Nevertheless, on NT charts, I just have access to data after 13/03/2007, even by formatting data series from 01/01/2000

Just export the data from eSignal and import into NT

Gepetto, expected with eSignal - standard intraday data ranges back 120 days, the extended history going back to 1997 for North American Futures has no API access, thus we can't chart it unfortunately.
