How to update instruments without restarting ninjatrader?

I connect ninjatrader to an external data feed. The external data feed creates new instruments in ninjatrader but in order to get them I have to restart ninjatrader. Is it possible to update the instruments without restarting ninjatrader?

Any help is much appreciated.

I am not sure if I follow. How does the external feed create new instruments in NinjaTrader?

Once they are created, do you see them in the Instrument Manager?

If so, are you able to add them to your default instrument list?

Subsequently it is possible to select the instrument in a NinjaTrader window after you added it to your instrument list?

Yes the instrument in created under the <default> exchange automatically, not in the instrument manager.

Can you please check the 'Available master instruments' section in the Instrument Manager and check if you see the newly created instrument listed.
