Draw Tools Not Working

Just downloaded software, buton new chart the draw tools are not working.

What am I doing wrong?

Version 6.5.1000.14

Running on Vista Business 64

Was running on Vista laptop with no trouble, but it has crashed HD

Also can you tell how I recover my "live key". Lost all my emails
