Newbiw coming from Tradestation environment

Hi

Coming to NinjaTrader from TS where most of my stratgies have been coded.

I like the idea of using NT "NinjaTrader Installation Folder>\bin\AutoTrade\NINJATRADER.EL" and the supported functions. Im thinking of trying this first
but Im wondering if there is a problem with excessive slippage with strategies in TS and buy/sell orders routing through NT to Broker rather than having the strategies in NT itself?
How could one evaluate the lag through the system?

Is there a NT crash course for people coming from the TS environment? Can someone send on a link?

Any other advice from folks that have come from the TS environment that would be any help?

Where is the link for online tutorials? if any?

You could trade the native sim101 account and check how long it takes for the order to be executed after your TradeStation strategy initiates a signal.

Unfortunately there is no such crash course link.
