    Strategy button grayed out

    Support,

    My strategy button is not yellow anymore, is this a compile error?

    How do I go about fixing this?

      Josh,

      On the tool bar at the top of a chart, the button between indicators and chart properties, is no longer yellow/ its grayed out, it will not change.

        GarryM,

        You first need to be connected to a data provider to use Strategies. Then you will need to ensure Chart Trader is not enabled on that chart.

          Josh,

          I am connected live. The chart trader icon on the toolbar does not do anything when it is clicked. How do I get the chart trader icon to do something. I have already restarted.

            Sorry, the chart trader icon does bring up the chart trader on the right side of the chart and takes it off when pressed again. Is this what you mean by disable.

            All of these things have already been tried.

              Please try NT6.5 and apply the exact same license code you had applied with NT7. Would it work there?

                I have been on version 6.5, but I uploaded it again. I have never been on version 7, did not know that was even out yet.

                The strategy button is still not allowing me to access/load/add strategies.

                What would be your next thought?

                  You could save yourself and us a lot of time if you posted your issues in the right forum and referencing the right NT version. I just moved the thread to the appropriate place.

                    Hi Garry,

                    Can you send a note to support at ninjatrader with your license so we can test it. You can find the license under Help--> License Key. Please put in the subject 'For Vince' and also let me know who you connect to and what version 6.5 you are using.

                    Our current release is V6.5.1000.14 and can be checked under Help--> About.
