    NT7 B2 Hist data not reloading

    Dear Support,

    I am trying NT7 Beta2. Not sure if anybody else has the same issue or not.

    For the futures contracts CL, QM, ZS, ZC, ZW, the historical data is not reloaded and only real time data accumulated. It means when I switch from, say ES, to CL, then I have no bars and only the current bar starts to showing up henceforth. Right-click menu "Reload All Historical Data" does not have any effect.

    This is with a clean chart, no indicators/ strategies loaded.

    Log reports no issue.

    I switch to CL, let is sit for a few minutes so it has a few bars, change it to other contract and come back to CL, then it does not recall previous bars and it starts from the current bar again.

    Historical data for index futures (ES, TF etc), currency futures (6E etc) are back filled normally.

    When I go back to NT6.5, I do not have any issues.

    Could you provide some help to resolve this issue please?

    Hello sasuke,

    Can you please tell me what data feed provider you connect to in NinjaTrader.

    What exchange is listed for these instruments?

    Does the issue persists if you setup the instrument the exact same way as in version 6.5? Go to Tools-->Instrument Manager, highlight an instrument in the 'Available master instruments' section and click Edit.

    Check if the instrument is setup the same under both tabs.

      The data provider is ZenFire.
      CL/QM - Nymex
      ZS/ZC/ZW - CBot

      Yes, the problem still exists when setup in the same way as NT6.5.

        Can you please set these instruments to the Globex exchange and check again.

          For CL and QM, the drop list shows me the choice of nymex only and not globex.

          For ZS, ZC, ZW, my bad, I did have no issues with them.

            Hello sasuke,

            Please have Nymex selected for the CL and QM.

            Can you please disconnect/re-connect from Zen-Fire.

            Subsequently open up new CL and QM charts and check if you receive historical data.

              Ok, i have kept those contracts as is and then disconnect/ connect, then created a new chart with CL. No cigar...

                Can you please check the Log-tab for any error messages.

                Check if the instruments are setup the same as the attached screenshots.

                  Thank you for the screen caps. They seem to match ok, more or less.
                  Logs don't report anything regarding data feed (just connect/ disconnection).

                    I suggest to apply for beta version 4 and check if the issue persists.


                    If so, please post your findings in the NinjaTrader 7 section of the Support forum.
