atm strategy won't work

whenever I am in chart trader during replay mode, my sim mode 101 is gone. therefore whenever I try to implment a stop loss as well as profit target, it won't allow me to add the ticks, they are grayed out.

I had it before,now it is gone, how do I get it back?

Can you give specific instructions on what you are doing and what is going wrong?
Sim 101 being greyed out is normal if you are in sim mode.
What do you mean by add ticks? Have you tried to right click the chart above the last traded price and select buy stop limit? That allows you to add ticks.

when I click on atm trategy in chart trader, under 1 target, all the boxes are grayed out, so you can't set a stop or profit target

If the license found in help>license key is not a free trial license, then click on the dropdown bar next to ATM Strategy: that says <None>, then select custom.

I don't have that option it only gives me "none " it's all grayed out

Are you using a free trial license? Can you trade live with your license without paying for the license key? If so, you do not have access to this functionality.

If not, please post a screen shot.
To post a screenshot press Alt + PRINT SCREEN to take a screen shot of the selected window. Then go to Start--> Accessories--> Paint, and press CRTL + V to paste the image. Lastly, save as a jpeg file and post the file as an attachment.

Are you using a free trial license? Can you trade live with your license without paying for the license key? If so, you do not have access to this functionality.

I opned an account with a new broker, they sent me a "free trial" license. So inorder to get the auto stop loss strategy (atm strategy on chart trader) and profit target feature I would have to buy the license? Before I was using a sim account which allowed me to use that feature, I was not aware there was fee for it


so is that the case?

Hello,

There are 3 types of licenses:
-Free license that allows full functionality so you can get a feel for the platform.
-Free trial license which allows you to use a limited number of NT functions so you can get a feel for the execution that your broker offers.
-A paid live license is available to you when you are ready to trade with full functionality with your broker.
