Changing default NinjaTrader "My Documents" location

This can be achieved by the "linkd" without change the folder(documents and settings) location, it is described in the following link:

For NT7, rember to convert the ramdisk to NTFS by:
C:\>convert r:/fs:ntfs , where r is your ramdisk,
to be the same format as "Documents and Settings".

However, at least, for real time scan, I don't think this approach could improve the performance to much.
Because, the data is initially write into the disk during loading, after this event, no obeservation of the saving of data in the disk.
It let me think the newly data could be buffered in the memory, if so, it may be not necessary to use the ramdisk, even it looks like a heavy I/O load in certain stages.
Bertrand, could you confirm if this is correct?
