Can't show TRIN&TICK index from TD Ameritrade

    Can't show TRIN&TICK index from TD Ameritrade

    I know TD only support real-time data for TRIN and TICK
    But when I load it in trading time it always show "Retrieving data for ^TRIN"

    Thank you for your post.

    Are you able to receive live data within the Orders tab of the Control Center?

    When attempting to load a chart do you receive real time data or does NinjaTrader only display "Retrieving data"?

    I look forward to assisting you with this issue.

      The trin&tick can received within the control center.
      Only display "Retrievring data" when I load the chart of it.

        Hello roadshow,

        Please follow the instructions below to repair the NinjaTrader database.
        • Disconnect NinjaTrader from any open connections via File > Disconnect
        • From the NinjaTrader Control Center window select the menu Tools > Options
        • Select the "Misc" ta
        • Press the "Repair DB" button
        • Press the "OK" button

        Please let me know if the issue persists after this procedure.

          I have already done the instructions that you said.
          it seems cant solve the problem and still display "retrieving data..."

            Hello roadshow,

            Please open a new chart with your days back set to 1 and let me know if the issue persists.

            Unfortuantely historical data is not available for these 2 instruments within NinjaTrader at this time.

                Please close all your open workspaces by going to the Control Panel-->File-->Workspaces-->Close Workspace

                After you have closed all workspaces please create a new workspace by going to the Control Center-->File-->Workspaces-->New Workspace

                Within the new workspace please open a new chart with no template or indicators applied and let me know if the issue persists.

                    Please rename your database. With this procedure you will be required to recreate any ATM Strategies you may have saved at this time.

                    To rename the DB:
                    • Shutdown NinjaTrader and Go to the Start Menu
                    • Select My Documents--> NinjaTrader 6.5--> DB--> NinjaTrader.MDB.
                    • Right click on NinjaTrader.MDB and select "Rename."
                    • Name it "OldNinjaTrader.MDB."
                    • Then restart the software

                      I tried again, the issue again.

                          Please open a new chart-->Set to 1 Tick interval-->Set Bars back to 1-->Click Ok-->within the new chart set the bar style to Line on Close

                          Please let me knwo if the issue persists after this procedure.

                            By your set it works. Thanks!
                            When I changed for candlestick on 1min or 5 min timeframe
                            It seems failed.

                              When setting up a Minute chart please set Bars back to 1.
