    VolumeProfile suddenly stopped working

    Guys,

    I'm using GAIN's data feed and suddenly, I think sometime yesterday, the volume profile indicator stopped appearing. I know it was on yesterday's charts early in the am, but not in the pm, nor does it show today.

    Does anyone have any ideas on this?

    Thank you for your post.

    When you say that the indicator stopped appearing, do you mean that it is not plotting on the chart or has disappeared entirely?

    Do you receive volume data if you open the VOL indicator?

      Hi Kyle,

      Yep, I've got the VolumeUpDown working perfectly, but there is no sign whatsoever of the volume profile.
      I've attached a jpg of the settings. yesterday morning, it appeared on the left of the chart.

            Thank you for your reply.

            Please open a new workspace (File > Workspaces > New Workspace) and create a new chart there within. In the new chart apply VolumeProfile and let me know if you see the same problem.

                This is indicative of a corrupted workspace. I suggest recreating the layout of the original workspace within the new workspace. After doing so, please delete the original.

                      Hi crmcwi,

                      Thank you for your reply. Glad to hear that did the trick for you.

                      To remove a workspace, I suggest the following method:
                      • Shut down NinjaTrader.
                      • Open the My Documents > NinjaTrader 6.5 > Workspaces folder.
                      • In the workspaces folder, right click on the workspace you wish to remove and select Delete.

                          My Volume Profile doesn't work again

                          Kyle,

                          I have the same problem again. There's suddenly no volume profile bars.

                          I found this thread and followed the instructions, but to no avail. Is there something else I might have to do?

                            Hi crmcwi,

                            Just to confirm, you have tried a new workspace again, correct?

                            If this is the case, please let me know whether or not VOL bars are available.
