NT6.5 with Zen-Fire / Futures keeps freezing

im am daytrading sp500 emini.

since about 2 weeks i am having problems with nt freezing. process not reacting. 10-60+ seconds. sometimes i need to kill the process. preferably during rapid market movements. it is unuseable with this behaviour. i thought that it could be the updating frequency which i set to 0 for ticks..now i am at 400ms and no change...

during globex session it works without a problem so it must have something to do with the extensive amount of data coming in these days during pit session.

i am running it on win7 32bit and never had issues.

no special log entries.

Unfortunately, as Windows 7 is not a supported operating system in the current version of NinjaTrader, the support I am able to offer will be limited.

In most cases, this would indicate a performance issue. Please try applying the tips listed at the following link: http://www.ninjatrader-support.com/H...rformanceTips1

Likewise, if you have a Vista or XP PC, I would recommend testing there as well to see if you see the same lagging.

the guide seemed to help.

i assume the problem was related to another workspace which was in the background. it had the same setup as my active s&p chart, also with chart update interval 0.

now that i closed it, everything runs fine. btw. i am using a macbook pro with windows 7, 2,4ghz and 4gb ram for charting. 4mbit sdsl line so i really wonder why it produced the problems with that second workspace in the background.
