I found the thread that discussed PERFORMANCE and recommended NT "best practices". However, my backtesting seems so impossibly long currently as opposed to a couple of months ago.
I do considerable backtesting. My overall .DB Folder is about 1.8 GB. I have a NewNinjaTrader.MDB around 900,000 KB and I have a NinjaTrader.OLD.MDB also the same size. My current NinjaTrader.MDB file is 12,000 KB.
My Backtesting seems longer and when Backtesting is complete, just tabbing to the various reports (i.e. Summary, Graphs, Charts, etc.) takes FOREVER (several minutes or more) to load data and display results. Frequently it runs for hours and I need to HARD QUIT and reboot.
Please recommend corrections I should make to return to earlier performance I used to experience. Thanks for help.
