NT will not fully connect to Zenfire

    NT will not fully connect to Zenfire

    I updated to the latest version yesterday. Today after connecting to Zenfire the log shows I am connected but the control center window
    shows still connecting to Zenfire. I am receiving data and charting
    yet chart trader is not working because I am not connected. Suggestions.

    Hello Harlan,

    Can you please reboot your PC and check if you can get connected successful to Zen-Fire.

    If the issue persists, I suggest to recreate your connection at Tools-->Account Connections and check if this will make any difference.

    You can find a Zen-Fire connection guide at the link below.


    Manually type in your username and password and check if the issue persists.

    If so, please check for software, such as (corporate) firewalls, spyware and anti-virus software, that could be interfering the connection.

    If the issue remains, please send me your Zen-Fire username and password, so I can create and test your connection on my end. Send it to support[at]ninjatrader[dot]com. Please put 'Attn Jason' in the subject header and reference this forum post.

      I did as as suggested but still not getting chart trader enabled. I am getting a datafeed and live charting but order submisions don't work.

        Hello Harlan,

        Could it be you have an automated strategy running in the chart?

        If not, do you perhaps see an arrow pointing downwards in the upper right corner of the chart. If so, please click the arrow and ChartTrader will re-appear.

          Thank you, I don't have any automated strategies running and I am able to get the chart trader menu up but none of the order execution buttons work even though I am getting live data and live charting. I didn't have this problem till I dowloaded the latest update but I haven't dowloaded the prior updates. I'm wondering if installing the the earlier updates would
          help. Thank You, Harlan
