Multiple Simultanous Data Sources

Is it possible to get data for different symbols from two data sources?

Specifically, I trade with IB and get most of my data with IQFeed.
I do not have an IQFeed data subscription to Xetra (for DAX) but do have that with IB.
I created an new Master instrument "DAX_IB that only maps to IB.
I request a chart for DAX_IB and NT puts up an empty chart window and the familiar "This request cannot be aborted" message that does not go away until I restart NinjaTrader.

Is what I am trying to do supported?
If so, what am I doing wrong?

(I have been using TWS's charts in this situation)

Thank you for your post.

Please set the mapping for IB to DAX|DTB and remove the mapping next to IQFeed.

Next please remove DAX from your Default list and add it back in.

Please let me know if you are able to receive data after this procedure.

It works!

I don't know how what you suggested is functionally different than what I did, other than deleting "DAX" from other "instrument Lists" that I have.

I do get an error message: "Error on loading chart data for 'DAX 1209Xerta' !ERROR! Invalid symbol.
and I was able to dismiss it. I suppose that was from NT tying to use IQFeed 1st.

Anyway, I have a chart and it seems valid.
I'll let you know if I have any more problems with this.
