COM interface questions.

A couple of general questions on using the COM interface.

1. I can not determine the use of the Ask, Bid and Last methods(functions). The documentation says that this "Sets the ask price and size for the specified instrument".. Why would I want to be setting? I could see getting the ask and size.

2. Instrument. Are you referring to the Name in the Instrument Manager. For example, ER2, is that what I use for the instrument field in in the COM interface? Or do I use ER2 06-07 which is what I would see in a list?

1. Its if you want to drive NinjaTrader from an external data source. We use this ourselves to drive data from TradeStation to NinjaTrader. It allows us to provide a simulation platform to TradeStation.
