Importing Historical Data

Hi - I have created a txt file for a symbol VFINX which has data already adjusted for dividends and splits. I created VFINX in the instrument manager and then imported my txt file into NT. It said it was successfully imported. However, when I chart VFINX or do a backtest on it, the data is not reflecting the data in my txt file. It is showing the unadjusted yahoo data.

Do I need to map my historical data txt import file to VFINX in the instrument manager?

If I can figure out this last step I will be a lifelong user!

oyz79, I would suggest you delete the symbol you did, and then redo the import but this time not setting a mapping for the Yahoo entry in the instrument's mapping setup, this way the data you import would not be overwritten when you connect to Yahoo.
