Cannot connect Ninja Trader

    hello,

    I have the same problem (login 20051).
    someone else have the same problem with zen-fire today?

      Hello,

      Yes, some others have. I suggest either contacting your data provider, sending your login information to use via help>mail to support, or retesting it when the market is open.

          im getting the 20051 error now. I go through this song and dance every month or so. Usually i need to go to the mirus or amp site. Register for another account, and change my login details to the new details and it then works again, although this isn't fixing it this time around. Still getting the error. Im using the latest release 6.5.1000.14

          Hopefully it will fix itself tomorrow and its a weekend thing?....

            Hello subterfuge,

            I am able to connect to Zen-Fire on my end.

            Please try recreating the Zen-Fire connection via Tools-->Account Connections.


            Manually type in your username and password and check if the issue persists.

            If so, please check for software, such as (corporate) firewalls, spyware and anti-virus software, that could be blocking the connection.

              thanks, but as suspected, as usual, it has fixed itseslf and i now appear to be able to log in. Would be nice if this wasn't such a regular occurance, but thanks for your support.

                Zen-fire does maintanence on it's servers over the weekends, and there will be times you can't connect. However, over the weekends is the best time to do that maintanence. The best thing to do is just wait a little while and see if it comes back. I experienced a problem connecting this morning also on 2 different computers, accounts and NT versions. By about 9:10 all was fine, although, on one computer I had to restart NT (the one running NT7) before it would reconnect.

                  thanks. You're right, and it does make sense.
                  Just would be nice to know these things which would avoid unnecessary complications
