just wanted to ask, which version of Barchart I need for that it's compatible with NinjaTrader. Is the basic version (QuotePlus) sufficient, or do I need another version?

I am not sure if I follow; what is referred by as 'version of BarChart'? Are you referring to different subscription options at BarChart?

Yes, I meant the subscriptions. Thank you very much for the link. just one last question: I don't own a NT account yet (only the demo). What do I have to enter in the NT username? Can I create a new one, or do I have to purchase NT first in order to get a username?

You will receive this information from BarChart. Unfortunately we do not have such information listed on our end nor do we have acces to it.

It is supported to connect to BarChart when using the free version of NinjaTrader.
