Thanks for letting me have a look at NinjaTrader -- I've tested it out in DEMO mode and made a decision that I simply can not trust it. The constant crashes, the constant freezing-up of the platform, it's absolute inability to back-test any meaningful amount of tick-data are all complete deal-breakers for me. I'm running a quad-core with 8GB of RAM -- my system is truly a powerful rig -- yet NinjaTrader simply can not go 24 hours without absolutely collapsing. Literally nothing else crashes on my system -- not even some of the most powerful engineering software out there. I sincerely believe that NT has some stability issues within it that simply can not become my headache -- not when it comes to trading real money.
You know, at one point in time, I actually had a credit card in my hand, ready to buy the whole thing -- when NinjaTrader picked that exact moment to crash.
I was pretty much done with it right then.
In any case, thanks for letting me have a look at it in DEMO mode.
