Sell below the current offering

I would like to Sell below the current offering, while using ASK or BID or just Sell, however I ran into an error (attached).

The same problem with buying above the current offering.

Is it possible to place an order: Buy above the current offering or Sell below the current offering?

Hello Demitch,

You will need to submit a stop market order in such a case. By default a stop market order is submitted by holding the Ctrl-key and a middle mouse click.

Yes, it's working now.

However, how do I place two orders at the same time (OCO): one above and one below?

You can accomplish a breakout/breakdown approach by:

• Right click in the SuperDOM and select the menu "OCO Order" to enable this function
• For your first order, select the desired option from the "ATM Strategy" drop down list
• Submit your stop order to buy above the market
• For your second order, select the desired option from the "ATM Strategy" drop down list
• Submit your stop order to sell below the market
• CRITICAL Right click in the SuperDOM and select the menu "OCO Order" to disable this function

For a market fade approach just subsitute limit orders for stop orders. This entry technique is demonstrated in our free ATM Level I training class that we hold several times per week.
