Popup Window Location

Hi,

I have 'Confirm Order Placement' enabled.

When the confirmation window pops up, it launches on a monitor that is not ideal for me.

I would prefer for it to launch on another monitor, is there a config file or setting that I can work with?

Unfortunately there is not a setting within NinjaTrader to select what monitor the confirmation will be displayed. I will forward this to our development team for future considerations.

I cannot seem to get a handle on the behavior of the Confirm Order Placement popup. As there is no configuration settings could you tell me the programmed behavior of the popup window location so that I can fiddle about to see if there is something on my end?

It mostly pops up in the same chart as my SuperDom, but not always...am perplexed.

Understood...could you please confer with your development team and see if they can offer details around the pop-up placement?

We run quite a few monitors and tracking down the travelling pop-up in real-time has become quite disturbing during trading.

The confirmation window will populate on the window which you are submitting the order in.

I have spoke to our development team and there is no additional information available on the programming side.

Here's the wrinkle. The orders are not submitted from a window, rather they are submitted via ATI.

Under this scenario can you ask the developers how the pop-up window placement is done?

Is the confirmation window populating on the monitor where you have a window selected or is it populating on the monitor where the NinjaTrader Control Center resides?
