Dynamic Chart

Hi,

1. Create chart dynamically
Is it possible to create chart dynamically when certain conditions met in market analyzer?

2. Or ...
Is it possible to change chart symbol dynamically through application?
E.g. first 5 min of hour, show symbol A, and next 5 min show symbol B dynamically through application.


The purpose is to monitor x numbers of symbol and mail the chart of the symbol that met the conditions in real-time. May be you have a better solution?

1. Unfortunately this is not supported. You can right click an instrument in the Market Analyzer and select Send To-->Chart. However, it is not supported to have a chart opened when certain conditions are met.

Just would like to suggest if we can change the instrument in the chart e.g. Instrument.MasterInstrument.Name.Set("<instrument name>").

Yes, you can change the instrument name in the Instrument Manager. Highlight an instrument in the 'Available master instrument' section and click Edit. Change the 'Master instrument' field to your liking.

Manual process is possible. Also, appreciate if you could consider we can change the instrument within the code.

E.g. Instrument.MasterInstrument.Name.Set(<instrument name>") . Then the chart will use the new instrument name.
