Can I trust BackTest results when I get the 'System.OutOfMemoryException' error?

    I am running a backtest from Jan 1, 2009 - present; 10 tick bars.

I can watch the memory utilization ... it creeps up to 1.2GB/1.3GB and just like clockwork, I see that dreaded entry in the Log tab. Memory dips to about 1.0GB, but then it slowly gets back up there, and then another log entry.

Just for the record, the Log entry is this:
Failed to call 'Add' method for period type 'Tick'. Exception of type 'System.OutOfMemoryException' was thrown.

I'm not that concerned about this error...I'm just hoping/expecting NT7 to solve this problem completely (is that realistic?).

ANYWAY, my real question is this: can I trust the results of a backtest if that error is thrown?

Thanks for any thoughts about this.

No you can't. Backtest results are only accurate if you wouldn't see any strange log messages.
