No forex data, no new contract SuperDOM

    Hi,

1- I just downloaded Ninjatrader and Zenfire DEMO account from AMP trading. When the contractrolled over last week, I can see the YM 12-09 chart but when I want to open Dynamic SuperDOM I only see 09-09 contracts. Am I making a mistake somewhere? How can I choose 12-09 from this menu? Is this not allowed in DEMO account?

2- Also whereas Forex, Stocks listed in (under File, New, Charts, Instruments) these charts do not open. Is this because I am in DEMO account also? (Also Wheat, Soybeans etc do not open)

3- Level II window does not open. (DEMO peoblem again?)

I want to trade in Crude Oil, Wheat and mini sized Dow and E-mini but It seems it will not be possible with Ninja. Please correct me if I am wrong.

    Thanks in Advance...

    Hello lyrklaunavan,

    Thank you for your post.

1.) Please follow the instructions below to rollover the expiration date of a futures contracts.
    • From within the NinjaTrader Control Center window select the menu Tools > Instrument Manager
    • Highlight the contract you wish to rollover in the left side of the Instrument Manager window
    • Press the ">" button (the instrument will disappear from the list)
    • Press the "<" button and the instrument should re-appear with the front month expiration date
Click here for a video and further instructions

2.) Forex and stock data is not provided by Zen-Fire.

What are the grains instrument symbols that you're referring to.

3.) The level II window does not open at all? Do you recieve an error?

Hi Kyle thanks for the support. I rolled over by following your instructions and I opened the level II also thanks.

Wheat (W 12-09) I am choosing this one but it does not open. I am choosing Control Center>File>New>Chart>Future (...) then I choose YW 10-09. Nothing happens. Empty Chart.

Can I ask one more question? How many 1 minute intervals can we see in Ninjatrader? (How many past days I mean?) Is there a way to increase this?

      Thanks...

        Hi lyrklaunavan,

        Thank you for your reply.

1.) Per YW 10-09, I am seeing the same on my end. This looks to be an issue of symbol mapping.
I will work to get this instrument working and provide you with my settings once I am able receive data.

2.) You can increase days back in the Format Data Series window.
To access the window, right click in an existing chart and select that option or open a new chart.
