Is it possible to count the number of bars on a chart?

Suppose i open a chart of the Sp500 60 min 17 days back.

Obviously 60min means 7 bars per day * 17 days = 84 bars.

But its not always that simple.

So can we include in the scroll bar of the bottom chart the number of bars on the chart for the time selected or the time you scroll back and foward?

You can code an indicator to display the CurrentBar value at the bottom right hand of the chart. As long as you keep the same tag, it will always overwrite itself with the most up to date value of CurrentBar.

i understand the idea

After all there is a countdown volume/time candle indicator.

How do i modify or create a similiar that will count the number of candles in the chart or in a specific area of the chart is a mistery to me.

Ill have to research this.
