    trade time error

Hi, I am having a problem with displaying my trades at the correct time on the chart.

The trade markers appear an hour ahead of when I actually executed the trade. The trade markers move out of sync with the chart after I have shutdown ninja trader and restart it.

I have attached a chart showing this error.

I have tried using the "repair database" button, but that give me an error saying I need to restore it manually. I have attached a picture of the error box.

    Hello Naked_Shorts,

First, you will need to restore your database. Ensure NinjaTrader is closed and go to My Documents-->NinjaTrader 6.5-->db. Rename the NinjaTrader.Old file to NinjaTrader. Once NinjaTrader is started your database is used, instead of a new one.

Can you please synchronize your PC clock, while NinjaTrader is closed.

You can sync your PC clock by double clicking on the clock in the lower right corner of your desktop. Once you have done that, click on Internet Time tab and then click Update. Your PC clock should now be updated.

Start NinjaTrader and create a new chart. Check if the trade markers are reflected at the correct time.

      Jason,

Thanks for the suggestions but unfortunately they didn't fix the problem.

I think the problem stems from an error in the data. There is a gap where 1 hour of data is missing. I have tried using the "reload historical data" but this does not fix the problem (I have attached a picture below of the gap).

I am thinking the best way to fix this data omission is to simply clear the historical price data. Can you suggest a way to do that?

You can delete historical data via Tools-->Historical Data-->Delete.

Thanks Jason, I deleted the data and the new data downloaded from my feed still has the gap. So I guess its a matter for my data provider.
