alert appear on a chart?

Is there a way for an alert to show something on a chart? Like a small arrow or image?

This would not be possible using the alerts feature of the Market Analyzer.
This would, however, be possible through custom programming of an indicator.

The indicator would need to be designed to place a mark on the chart when the conditions used in the alert are met.
